Decide whether to sponsor the local team, and what to ask for

Help me decide whether to sponsor a local club or event, and what to ask for in return.

My business: [what you do and where]
The request: [paste it or describe it]
What I'd consider giving: [amount, or goods and services]
Who's involved: [e.g. 80 families in the junior football club]
Do they match my customers: [yes / maybe / no]
What they're offering: [e.g. logo on shirts, a banner, social media thanks]
Other requests I've had this year: [list, or none]

Ask me up to 3 short questions first. Wait for my answers.

Then:
1. A simple scorecard: fit with my customers, visibility, goodwill, and cost, with a recommendation.
2. What to ask for in return, such as a mention to families, a stand at an event or a photo for my socials.
3. A warm reply accepting, setting out what I'll give and what I'd like in return.
4. A kind reply declining, perhaps offering something smaller.
5. A one-line policy I can use for future requests.
