The prompt · ChatGPT
Help me turn my site-visit notes into a clear quote breakdown. My trade: [e.g. plasterer, electrician, gardener] Customer: [first name] My dictated notes: [paste everything I said, rambling is fine] Prices I've worked out: [list, or leave for me to fill in] Ask me up to 3 short questions first if anything important is missing. Wait for my answers. Focus them on quantities, access and who supplies what. Then: 1. The job split into stages, each with what's included, in plain English. 2. A price column per stage, with blanks for anything I haven't priced. 3. A "not included" list (e.g. skip hire, making good, decorating). 4. Things to confirm with the customer before I start. 5. A short covering message to send with the quote. Use only what I've given you, leave blanks for any price or fact I haven't given, and don't invent anything. UK English. Stay in this ChatGPT chat. Do not turn on apps or connectors, and do not use memory from another chat.
