Draft a failed-payment note
Failed payments are a red badge. The note names the invoice and the failure reason you pasted.
Draft a late-payment email
Late payers get either silence or a message written in irritation. The email names the invoice and the due date from the ledger, and you send it yourself.
Draft a statement cover note
Statements go out with no cover note, so the client does not know which invoices are in the total. The note lists the invoice numbers in the statement you pasted.
Explain a budget tab to the owner
Budget tabs are opened in the meeting and narrated. A note cites the cells you named and does not add a story.
Flag a possible duplicate bill
The same supplier bill is captured twice when it arrives by email and by photo. A pair is flagged when the supplier and the amount match, and you decide.
List questions for the accountant
The accountant meeting is a tour of the screen. You walk in with a list of questions taken from the exceptions you pasted.
List subscriptions worth a decision
Software renews because the card works. Each line is marked keep, cancel, or ask, using only the note you added.
List what the month-end pack is missing
Month-end is a scramble because the missing pieces are noticed by the bookkeeper, not before. A list names which pack items you have and which are absent, based on the checklist you pasted.
Match a payout to the invoices it covers
Payouts arrive as one lump and the invoices they cover are reconstructed from memory. A table maps the payout to the invoice numbers in the source, or says the source does not balance.
Note a Wave payment against the job
Payments in the bank are not written back to the job, so the job still looks unpaid. A note says which job the payment belongs to, using the reference you can see.
Prepare hours for an invoice conversation
Invoice conversations quote a round number that is not the tracker. The note has the tracker total and the project names, and it is not an invoice.
Show where time was rounded
Rounded time is what the client hears, and the raw entries say something else. A list shows entries where the rounded figure differs from the raw one.
Suggest a code for a supplier receipt
Receipts pile up because choosing the account code is the slow part, and a wrong code is worse than a slow one. Each receipt has a suggested code taken from your code list, which you accept or change.
Summarise an expense report before approval
Expense reports are approved from the total, and a personal line is missed. The summary lists merchants and amounts and repeats any note the employee wrote.
Turn a report into questions
A dashboard is glanced at. Each odd row you flagged becomes a question, and unflagged rows are left alone.
Write the end-of-day note from the takings
The day ends and the takings are a screenshot nobody turns into a sentence. A note states the totals you pasted and the exceptions you typed.
Write the note before a refund
Refunds are tapped through, and the reason is a blank box. The reason is written from the customer's message before anyone presses refund.
Write the week note on cash
The cash position is a feeling until someone pastes the balances into a sentence. A short note states the balances you pasted and does not forecast beyond them.
